why even post this shit? get it crap out of here
yesssiree!
Those pelicans are not scattering up and away for nothing. An evil wind has blown over those landscapes leaving those in it;s path affected with a poisonous infestation.
funny how taste has become a kind of faux-absolute in some circles, eh? In some folks’ opinions, these guys still do a really decent rock tune. So, rock is uncool in your book? Go somewhere else and enjoy whatever you have the capacity to. Dissing something online is trivially easy, and utterly risk-free, compared with writing and recording an album.
Its an ok album, Im listening to it. To me its recorded terribly and there is just this really unpolished vibe to the whole thing. Stephen Carpenter just barely finished recording his tracks without quitting the band he’s definantly not feeling the direction either. I like Chinos vocals, I like all things deftones. Truth is that the deftones were never a great band do to the incredibly great music but more there unique style and flavor. Styles change, Chino is definaltly pushing this band in a very ballad type shoegaze direction. This album reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins alot. Its not a bad album, it just reeks of break up or breaking point with this band. My guess is Stephen leaves and the deftones go all out Indie and drop the metal all together. I will say the bass and drums are on point on this record. Ultimatly the quality of this recording sounds like a demo from a high school band or something. Im not dissing for the sake of dissing, Im expressing my let down in a way that I would guess the band would appreiate to know how the die hard fans feel.
Yeh, it’s an okay album in my book too, but I have to admit I’m a bit underwhelmed. Not bad, but not inspiring me to rave about it.
Nice to see someone bothering to actually put a more nuanced opinion of the music out there though 6ill, definitely beats most of the inane nonsense in the comments on this site.
hey guess what, lots of people think your music tastes suck too. you eat garbage for a living.
is this 320 or transcode?
Im not in love with this

little known fact: this is a concept album written around Al Gore’s contributions to the development of the internet.
Al who?
from Battle Garegga with love
Yuck. Smoke detector alarm sounds better.
Fuck off. All of you.
Hey man, I was being nice.
Why are you named after a pair of slacks, by the way?
Not my kind of thin, but the cover art is beyond beautifull.
