thank you for sharing this; am intrigued by the increasing use of the term “modern classical” to label albums. being a newbie to erased tapes, denovali etc, i have, however, heard a fair amount of modern classical and am hoping that some of this music stands up too its precedents. the mixture of labels mentioned above include influences familiar to many composers (esp. folk and “world”). of course i’ll listen and judge for myself, but am interested in hearing what others think, eg what qualifies it as mc?
