Three cheers for the hardest working and most talented musician and composer on the Planet Earth. Phil Elverum (Microphones & Mount Eerie) is the king of washed out lo fi, experimental folk. More musicians should follow this man’s path both musically and spiritually. Praise Phil.
@ coach Dumfy, re: your comment: “…the hardest working and most talented musician and composer on the Planet Earth.”
You obviously know nothing about Prince. (Regardless of whether you like his music or not), he is the only talented genius on the planet who accurately fits the above desciption. The sheer magnitude of his productivity, creative output and unlimited talent is unparalleled.
Sadly, Mount Eerie doesn’t even come close – by a million miles. Fact!
Admittedly, ‘Sauna’ is a good album, just not THAT good :)
