While we’ve got some entertainment industry big wig posting here let me ask: why does “psychedelic rock” genre always have to have a high pitch guitar panned all the way to one side? That might have sounded rad on your dad’s hifi back in the 60s but now that most people use headphones to listen to music all that panned guitar does is feel like you just got done with a phone call with some hysterical ex, which is to say one ear is blown out. I like the idea of psychedelic rock; it’s fun, it’s trippy, it makes me feel like i’m in a super8 home movie of the weather underground but what do you have against my left ear?

Your post might have been more beneficial to your label and the band if you mentioned the release date for this record was the 22nd September and linked to your website where more Goat records could be had, like so – http://rocketrecordings.bandcamp.com/merch – rather than accusing nodata and it’s community of damaging music.

If it makes you feel any better, I won’t be downloading this Goat record. Not out of some ethical or moral ideal but because Goat are shit. If I wanted to listen to clowns dressed like an Australian’s nightmare I’d listen to Adam and the Ants.

It’s funny I was kind of on the brink with this band. Heard about it from my sis, listened to World Times once or twice. Did not buy, was not that great but somehow promising. Now I decided to still read some comments before even downloading and you made me forget about it. Indeed, welcome to the internet. With Spotify, people will want to hear shit before they buy. Hard for me to see how this could harm your business.
